Bindi Beatson
Bindi Beatson is a rising young talent in the New Zealand equestrian scene, already making a name for herself in the showing ring at an early age. Based in Cambridge, Bindi is part of one of New Zealand’s most well-known equestrian families, with horses quite literally in her blood.
She is the daughter of Jamie and Chanel Beatson of Ohukia Lodge — a highly respected breaking, pre-training, and Ready to Run sales preparation operation — and the granddaughter of legendary showjumper Maurice Beatson. Growing up immersed in the industry, Bindi has been around horses from the moment she could walk, naturally developing a strong connection and passion for the sport.
From lead rein classes through to the showing ring, Bindi has already achieved consistent success, demonstrating confidence, horsemanship, and a natural feel beyond her years. More recently, she has begun building her way up through the showjumping arena, continuing to develop her skills and expand her experience across disciplines.
Following in her family’s footsteps, Bindi represents the next generation of New Zealand equestrian talent — combining tradition, skill, and a genuine love for horses.
