Cambridge Grains Copper Sulphate is a concentrated source of copper for use where additional dietary copper is required as part of a carefully balanced feeding programme.
Copper is an essential trace mineral involved in connective tissue formation, iron metabolism, pigmentation and normal antioxidant enzyme function. Adequate copper is particularly important for growing horses and for maintaining overall mineral balance.

Feeding
Copper Sulphate is highly concentrated and should only be fed at accurately measured rates based on the complete diet. Copper requirements and safe supplementation depend on bodyweight, age, forage mineral content and other minerals in the ration, particularly zinc and iron. Excessive copper intake can disrupt the utilisation of other trace minerals, so professional formulation or forage/feed analysis is recommended before use.
